In this adaptation (in two acts), the play has been shortened and the dialogue revised only as needed for continuity. The timeline of the scenes has been modified.

The intent is to make to make it easier for small and community theaters to produce, and for audiences less familiar with Shakespeare to enjoy.

The play has two settings:

Act I in the throne room. Act II in the graveyard.

Content warning: Pretty much everybody dies.
